It's All In The Details For A Friend's Wedding
Two great friends of mine, Sabine and Hugh are getting married this week. Last month, I was asked if I could help them out with a presentation that would translate the speeches into German and English. Sabine's family are German and would require translation for the English speeches, while Hugh's family are English and would require the opposite.
I gladly offered my services to assist, creating a presentation of slides boasting more than 330 slides that will act as subtitles for each of the speeches. Now being me, I can't just do the basic and leave it as that. Being my friends, I've decided to take the presentation one step further using my video production skills.
Weddings are a very special (and expensive) occasion, so any additional help I can offer I'm sure is greatly appreciated. In this instance, I've created some slides with an animated graphic that can be seen in the below video. This will be used to fill in the time gaps where the speakers will swap over. and so instead of a boring blank screen, the presentation will now feature a pretty graphic.
The graphic was made in Adobe After Effects CC using the stoke, 3D and Radial Fast CC effects. The initial design was produced in photoshop before being transferred to After Effects, then using Keynote, the video will automatically play on a projection screen.
