Portsmouth Football Club's Home Team Kit Has Been Revealed With My Video Production For The University
With the exciting announcement of the brand new Home Kit for Portsmouth Football Club; and with the announcement a few months ago of the University of Portsmouth being the main sponsor of the club, it was once again time to put my video production skills to work, that I had picked up from studying BSc Television and Broadcasting.
Portsmouth Football Club today announced their new home kit which would feature the all new rebranded, University of Portsmouth logo at the forefront of all the club's shirts. As part of the University's involvement of this particularly news piece, I was asked to create some graphics that could be used to help generate interest for the club's announcement.
I used the University's logo, the Portsmouth Football Club logo as well as some basic graphics to create a very short video that would be fit for all social media as well as for display, with the permission of Portsmouth City Council, on the Big Screen Portsmouth in Guildhall Square.
The announcement and video production was released at 12:00 PM today and you can see the videos I produced below.
In an email thread, Portsmouth Football Club mentioned that they were jealous of the creative skillset that was displayed for this kind of video production. The video (which was put out on social media) has since been retweeted by Ex-Diseny Chief Executive Officer, Michael Eisner.
The videos were produced in 4K, 1080p, 1024p, Square for Instagram and as GIFs in 720p and 360p.
I'm sure they'll be plenty more announcements concerning my work in the near future here at the University. Stay tuned to the blog for further information.
