Riding The Walking Dead: The Ride On The Hottest Day Of The Year At Thorpe Park Resort

Riding The Walking Dead: The Ride On The Hottest Day Of The Year At Thorpe Park Resort

On the hottest day of the year, we couldn’t have planned for better weather to take a sunny trip to Thorpe Park Resort, theme park just outside London in the U.K.

Join as Johnny, Owen, Lianne, Tom, Jess, Matt and myself take a full day’s adventure to the island of rides and new experiences. One of the newest additions to the park was AMC’s The Walking Dead: The Ride, an attraction which overlays but updates the previous season’s X-No Way Out, which was considered to be fairly dull.

We had low expectations of the ride going in having heard, they’d made little to no changes to the internal structure, but were interested to find out what was in store for us. Watch as we ride and review the new experience!

Matt and I also ventured to the very much deserted area known as “Old City” which previously played home to Loggers Leap, which as you’ll be able to seen in the footage, has been left to rot away.

We also spent the off-peak day riding all of the big and small attractions the park had to offer. We were surprised that some fo the rides were not immediately available to us, but since we’ve realised it’s because it is an off peak day.

With the weather being as hot as it was, we were really thankful that Thorpe Park Resort decided to extend their opening hours for the day. We the outside temperature being 27C (81F) as we left the park, it was nice that we were able to experience rides such as The Swarm in lesser degrees of heat.

This was an incredible day with a great set of people. It was really nice to have a day off especially while the weather was as glorious as it was!

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoy this vlog.
