Vox Pop & Ask Me Anything Promotional Content For The University of Portsmouth
In the past month, I have continued to work in the role of Multimedia Producer for the University of Portsmouth. While working on and developing new projects to help promote the university, I’ve also been working on two major video creative projects.
The first is an Ask Me Anything (“AMA”) series which was produced originally for Instagram. The allowed the audience to ask questions to Course Leaders and for them to give a very public response.
As part of our new objectives here in marketing, we’re trying to use and expand on previously created content for further purposes, including use on the new award-winning website, port.ac.uk. So I took to the Adobe CC After Effects drawing board and designed a template that would allow us to use the AMAs across other platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
A total of 13 of these videos were produced for various different course with the intentions of them being added to supplement the promotion of each course.
The second project this month, saw me produce 23 Vox Pops that were also used to promote various courses across the university with them sitting on the website.. These will also sit on the course pages on the website. The majority of these were filmed in one day with the questions being asked to help deliver the full transition of coming into university, being at university and what the students’ intentions are after university.
As well as all of this, there has been continued support and content uploads on the Big Screen Portsmouth. I’m now focussed on bring together a collection of content that will be used to support the D-Day 75 commemoration event.
With more updates and projects being worked on, stay tuned to the blog for more portfolio work in the coming months.
