Watch As Portsmouth Football Club Swap The Football For A Glitter Ball In Support Of Lauren Steadman On Strictly

Lauren Steadman will once again take part in the Saturday night primetime dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing. This week, I’ve been out again with the camera filming players at Portsmouth Football Club who wished Lauren Steadman good luck.

Not only did we film players, Brett Pitman, Chris Burgess, Craig MacGillvray, Ben Close, Lee Brown and Jack Whatmough wish Lauren good luck, they then opted to all do a forward roll and then also dance with a glitter ball on their head. All made for a really fun day of filming and in the end, a really fun video.

The University of Portsmouth are the t-shirt sponsors of the club and so it made the most sense for us (myself and colleague, Chloe Smith who was incredible to work with) to work together and to have fellow sports people wish Lauren every success. The club could not have been more accommodating to us and our the team. They were lovely to work with and I hope there is more to come.

The video was produced in 12 different versions for use across social media networks, the Fratton Big Screen as well as the Big Screen in Guildhall Square.
